Film, negative and slide scanning

Film and slides fade, and paper photographs tear. We scan them frame by frame at high resolution, and you get files you can keep, reprint or send to the family.

Colour and black-and-white negatives, 135 (35 mm) format

Scanning is done on dedicated film equipment, not on an office scanner. Every frame is scanned individually, straightened and colour-corrected; dust and fine scratches are removed in processing.

You receive the files in film order, numbered, at a resolution good for a 20x30 cm print. On request we scan at maximum resolution for archiving or enlargements.

For large archives (hundreds of frames, whole albums) call us first: you get a quantity price and an exact turnaround.

Frequently asked questions

Which film formats do you scan?

Negatives and positives in 135 (35 mm) format, mounted or in strips. For medium format or plates, write to us with what you have and we will tell you if we can.

How long does it take?

It depends on quantity. A few rolls are ready in 2–3 working days; large archives get a date when you drop them off.

Can I get the files by email?

Yes, for small orders. For large archives we recommend a USB stick, ours or yours.
