Short guides written in the workshop, so your photos come out right.
Read the guides
Guide· 5 minHow many megapixels you actually need for each print sizeA 12 MP phone is enough for a 30×45 cm print. Here is the arithmetic, so you stop guessing — and why “more megapixels” solves less than you think.
Guide· 4 minID photos in Romania: what size you need and what gets rejectedThe identity card takes 3×4 cm, the passport 3.5×4.5 cm. The difference looks small, but a photo in the wrong format is sent back at the counter.
Guide· 5 minHow to choose the right frame: sizes, mounts and common mistakesThe same photograph looks cheap in one frame and expensive in another. The difference is almost always three decisions.
Guide· 4 minHow to keep printed photographs for decadesLight, damp and acidic card are the three things that destroy a photograph. All three are avoidable.

From the workshop
What we are working on
We post work here as it leaves the workshop: restored portraits, canvases, frames made up, print jobs. If you want to see how our work looks before you write to us, this is the place.
- Old photographs repaired, before and after
- Canvas prints and frames made up for customers
- Print jobs: business cards, posters, documents
A photo workshop since 1999, in the heart of Sector 3
Real Foto is a neighbourhood workshop with lab standards: we print, frame, restore and personalise, and every order passes through a person's hands before it leaves.
Come to 20 Camil Ressu Boulevard, call us or write on WhatsApp. If something is not perfect, we redo it.

Frequently asked questions
How long does delivery take?+
In-stock orders usually ship within 24–48 hours and arrive by courier in 2–4 working days anywhere in Romania. Personalised photo services can take a little longer — we always let you know beforehand.
How can I pay?+
By bank transfer. You get the IBAN and your order number the moment you place the order, and we ship as soon as the money arrives. If you collect the order from the workshop you can pay there instead, cash or card.
Is delivery free?+
Yes — courier delivery is free for orders over 500 lei. Below that, delivery costs 35 lei.
Can I return a product?+
Yes, you have 14 days to return products in line with consumer law. Personalised products (prints of your photos, engravings) can only be returned for manufacturing defects — in which case we remake them at our cost.
Do you print old or damaged photos?+
Yes — we digitally restore old, scratched or faded photographs, then print them at archival quality. Bring us the original or send a scan and we will tell you exactly what can be recovered.
