An undeveloped film is a closed box of memories. We open it carefully: developing under controlled conditions, high-resolution scanning and a frame-by-frame check before we hand over the result.

We also work with old films forgotten in drawers for years. The result depends on how the film was stored, but in most cases the images can be recovered. We tell you honestly, before we start, what to expect.

Do you develop black-and-white film?

Yes, we develop both colour (C-41 process) and black-and-white film. Bring us the film, or call first if it is an unusual type.

I have a 20-year-old film. Is anything still on it?

Most of the time, yes — though colours may have shifted and contrast may be weaker. Bring it in, we assess it and tell you honestly what can be recovered before we start.

Do I get the digital files too?

Yes. We scan the negatives and give you the files on a USB stick, card or via online transfer, alongside photo-paper prints if you want them.
