Lay out your stamp
Pick the Colop model, start from a template and change the words. You see the plate at its real size, in the ink colour you choose.
- Round: Printer R 17 (Ø17 mm), R 24 (Ø24 mm), R 30 (Ø30 mm) and R 40 (Ø40 mm)
- Rectangular: Printer 10 (27 × 10 mm), 20 (38 × 14 mm), 30 (47 × 18 mm), 40 (59 × 23 mm), 50 (69 × 30 mm), 55 (60 × 40 mm) and 60 (76 × 37 mm)
- Lay it out online: templates for the company name, tax ID and register number, “ACHITAT”, “COPIE CONFORMĂ CU ORIGINALUL”, a date stamp, a professional's stamp
- One ink colour on the plate: black, blue, red, green or violet
- Ink pad included, refills available
Colop numbers are model numbers, not millimetres: a Printer 30 has a 47 × 18 mm plate, while a Printer R 30 is round and 30 mm across. The editor always shows the plate at its real size, with the dotted safe area, so the text does not run into the edge that will not print.
For a company stamp the Printer R 30 (Ø30 mm) is the one most people ask for: the name curves round the top, the town under the bottom and the tax ID sits in the middle. Rectangular, the Printer 30 (47 × 18 mm) holds the name, the tax ID and the trade register number on three lines; the Printer 40 (59 × 23 mm) and Printer 50 (69 × 30 mm) add the address and the bank.
A stamp prints in one ink, and the plate is a relief: every point either touches the paper or does not. So the artwork is monochrome, and an uploaded logo becomes solid lines — no greys and no photographs. Send the logo as a PNG with a transparent background, or as black-and-white line art, at a good resolution.
If somebody has already made the file for you, upload it as it is. And if you would rather start from an impression of the old stamp, bring it to the workshop: we redraw the artwork from it and show it to you before we make it.
Frequently asked questions
How long does the stamp take?
Usually the same day, if the artwork is approved in the morning. Call ahead if it is urgent.
Which size for a company stamp?
Most often the Printer R 30 — round, 30 mm across — or the rectangular Printer 30, whose plate is 47 × 18 mm: the name, the tax ID and the trade register number fit without crowding. If you want the address on it too, take the Printer 40 (59 × 23 mm).
What do Printer 30, R 30 and Printer 55 mean?
They are Colop model numbers, not sizes. A Printer 30 has a 47 × 18 mm plate, a Printer R 30 is round and 30 mm across, and a Printer 55 is 60 × 40 mm. The size in millimetres is written next to each model when you choose it.
Can I put my company logo on the stamp?
Yes, if it is artwork that can be cut in relief: solid lines and shapes, no gradients and no photographs. Send it as a PNG with a transparent background. The editor shows it exactly as it will be on the plate.
Which ink colours do you have?
Black, blue, red, green and violet. A stamp prints in one colour; if you need two colours, that is two stamps.
Do you have ink refills?
Yes, for every Colop model we make.
